The Carnegie K12 Local Administrator:02 – Logging as the Local Administrator
print icon

The Local Administrator is a role in Carnegie K12 products.

  • Only local administrator can create courses and teacher accounts and assign/enroll teachers in courses.

  • The local admin can do all teacher functions.

  • All courses, teachers, and students associated with a school are visible to the local administrator

Carnegie Speech will provide each school with the local admin login credentials.  These credentials should be shared only with those that have received Local Administrator training to avoid errors in this process.

When the local administrator logs into the program,  they will be presented with the course most recently viewed using this login ID.  The arrow indicates the location of the dropdown menu where the local administrator or teacher can navigate to the other courses currently available in the school.
