The Curriculum:

Carnegie Speech programs assess your spoken English skills, and the Intelligent Tutor program selects topics and exercises that will help you to rapidly improve your spoken English skills.

Your Study Habits

There is a DIRECT relationship between time-on-task and improvement.  Study 30-45 minutes per day 5 days per week to gain maximum benefit from using NativeAccent. 2 ½ hours one day a week is not effective.

Carnegie ESL, Carnegie ESP, and NativeAccent

1. Supported devices include:
   1. Computers running Windows 7.8 or 10 or Apple Mac computer running macOS (headset recommended)
   2. Mobile devices including phones and tablets running iOS and Android operating systems (earbuds recommended)
2. Browsers
   1. Supported: the current versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari (required for iOS devices). and MS Edge.

Sound Settings

• Mobile devices do not typically provide settings for the microphone volume.  Carnegie Speech strongly recommends the use of either wired or wireless earbuds with integrated microphone.
